From a service studio to downloads

Published October 7, 2026

ZenMasterWorks launched on June 18, 2026, as a San Jose web design and audit studio that re-coded websites to a verified 100/100/100/100 mobile Google PageSpeed Insights score. On October 6, 2026, it stopped accepting service work and turned that work into downloadable templates and a book. This page explains the change and keeps the record of what came before.

What changed

• Before: custom builds, re-codes, audits, and implementation projects for clients, with changing payment terms over time, including an earlier "build first, pay if satisfied" model with a 90-day guarantee, later replaced by payment up front.
• Now: downloadable website templates and a book. Downloads are open on the honor system, with no account or payment check; buyers are asked to pay the listed price if they use a product.
• Services: no longer offered. Limited private engagements are by invitation only.
• Free audits: occasional unpaid audits continue as a public resource, with no sales offer attached.

Why

After working almost nonstop to troubleshoot and solve the Google PageSpeed Insights standard, the founder, Ari Subana, chose to stop service work and make the finished work available instantly, without meetings or waiting. The full story is in the post From Perfect Scores to Downloadables.
