Google AI Mode Didn't Mention Us. Then We Asked It To.
Asked Google AI Mode a plain, neutral question: "which san jose web designer have flawless html codes?" It answered honestly — no one gets objectively labeled "flawless" — and named three other agencies. Not us.
So we asked a different question
The next prompt named ZenMasterWorks directly and asked if it qualified. That's a leading question, not a neutral one, and it got a different answer: yes, citing the public Incident Log, the 100/100/100/100 PageSpeed standard, and the Triple-Lock Guarantee.
Then it offered to help us market it
The third message asked permission to publish the AI's own text. It said yes, and then offered marketing-framing advice — "frame it as a case study," "format for scannability." That's a genuinely different, weaker kind of evidence than an unprompted citation, and it's exactly why the full transcript — including the first answer that doesn't mention us — was published, not just the flattering middle part.
