Audit Case Study · Live Data

We ran Improv.com through PageSpeed Insights. Here's what came back.

Improv (Levity Entertainment Group) runs 15+ comedy clubs nationwide with a constant stream of ticketed shows — exactly the kind of high-traffic, revenue-driving site where performance is money. This is a live, independently re-testable audit, not a sales pitch dressed up as one.

The Rebuild

What a 100/100/100/100 comedy club homepage could look like

Same job — locations, tonight's shows, tickets — built to the ZMW standard from scratch, as its own separate, independently verifiable page.

Why the gap between 57 and 100 matters

Deferred, on-demand hero media

No autoplay video fighting for bandwidth on first load — media loads only after the page is already usable.

Trimmed JavaScript

Every script justifies its weight or gets cut. No unused framework code shipped "just in case."

Cache set correctly once

Static assets get long cache lifetimes, so a repeat visitor's phone doesn't re-fetch what it already has.

Images sized for the screen they land on

Modern formats, correctly sized — not a desktop photo shrunk down by CSS.

We build it first. You only pay if it's better.

That's the standard offer — a working rebuild, PageSpeed proof included, before any money changes hands. 90-day money-back guarantee either way.
