The Bakery Blueprint: A Live Bake Board Instead of a Static Menu
A bakery's real differentiator is freshness, and a static price list can't show that — a $6 sourdough loaf reads the same on a menu whether it came out of the oven ten minutes ago or is the last stale one from yesterday's batch. The nineteenth blueprint replaces the menu page with a live "Today's Bake" board instead: what's fresh, roughly when it came out of the oven, and what's already sold out, updated the way the case actually changes through the day.
Why the signature element is a board, not a menu
A fixed price list tells a customer what a bakery sells in general. A daily board tells them what's actually available right now — and marking items as sold out honestly, instead of leaving them listed until someone shows up disappointed, is a small trust signal a static PDF menu simply can't carry. It also gives a returning customer an actual reason to check the site again: the board is different tomorrow.
Separating counter items from catering
The base build covers the daily case, but the Orders & Catering package adds a lead-time order form built around real cake and catering timelines — deliberately kept separate from same-day counter items, because a wedding cake order and a walk-in croissant purchase have nothing in common except that they're both baked goods. Three packages total, so a bakery owner can see exactly what's included before deciding how much of the site they need.
Built clean from the start
Same standard as every blueprint before it: a sticky header with a correctly-sized tel: link, a hero video sourced under a free license and stripped of audio to stay fast, and a live PageSpeed link proving the 100/100/100/100 score rather than just claiming it. Ships at $100 flat as a DIY template for bakery owners or developers who want to edit it themselves.
Run an independent bakery and want your real daily case, real sold-out states, and real catering path built into something like this?
